What led me here?

Here being this location, it was my experience previously in the area, where I enjoyed being around Origva, the mix of people and cultures, and the pleasant climate. There is also some pain there in that I left Germany with a broken heart and without my now ex-partner.

What is my high point?

I am financially independent and enjoy life here in the countryside with my dogs. I am starting to see a future that Anton and I can design for ourselves.

What do I value?

I value and have an appreciation for all the help I get from the farmer, for the land itself, for the experience, for every sunrise and every sunset. I value myself and my recovering mental health.

What is changing?

I am slowly adapting to this life, getting used to being more hands-on on the land, organising help that is for specific tasks.

What’s the best future I can imagine?

More of what I have already, eating from the garden, building strong bonds with the neighbours and the land.

What will it take to get us there?

Slow pace, not trying to rush into progress. Feeling myself into it rather than push for achieving goals.
